Instructions for Maximizing Benefits of Chief Minister's Ayushman Aarogya Camps

Udaipur, 26 December. Following the instructions of District Collector Arvind Poswal, a meeting of the District Health Committee was held on Thursday in the District Council hall, chaired by Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Shankar H. Bamaniya. The meeting was attended by the Deputy CMHO, Additional CMHO, RCHO, DPC DDDW, SMO WHO, DPM, UPM, DNO, DAM, BCMO, BPM, and the in-charges of the district's CHCs.

Dr. Bamaniya mentioned that the Chief Minister’s Ayushman Aarogya Camps are being organized in the district, and it is essential that maximum people benefit from these camps. He issued instructions for creating ABHA IDs and Ayushman cards, conducting ANC checks, vaccination, screening for cancer and leprosy, clearing the backlog of sickle cell anemia, organizing Ayushman Aarogya Melas, and holding health fairs every Wednesday.

Additional Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Ragini Agarwal instructed that the e-KYC process for Ayushman Bharat cards be completed promptly, family welfare programs should focus on increasing sterilization cases, and work on PPIUCD and Antara injections should be expedited. RCHO Dr. Ashok Aditya emphasized the need to meet the annual target for ANC registrations.

Dr. Akshay Vyas informed that a special vaccination campaign is being run from December 23 to December 31 as per the state government's directive. Instructions were given to identify and vaccinate children who missed vaccination to bridge the gap.

The meeting also discussed creating vouchers under the Mother Voucher Scheme as needed, conducting sonography within a month, and closing the gaps in JSY and RSBY programs.

DPC Dr. Mohan Dhakad urged all institutions to enter patient records online promptly and complete activities based on the eight points provided by the department. Under the Anemia-Free Rajasthan program, it was directed to administer iron syrup and tablets to children and report on it during Shakti Divas. Deputy CMHO Dr. Ankit Jain focused on improving the NCD ranking and instructed timely uploading of data on the IHIM portal.
