Shri Chitragupt Sabha Hosts Pen, Inkpot Puja and Award Ceremony

Shri Chitragupt Sabha organized a Pen-Inkpot Puja, Diwali Sneh Milan (Fellowship) and Award Ceremony at the Sabha Bhawan, Sector 4. The event was marked by traditional rituals, cultural celebrations, and recognition of outstanding individuals within the community.

The ceremony began with the worship of the Pen-Inkpot and the idol of the revered deity, Shri Chitragupt Ji. The main Yajman (performer) for the puja was Bhavani Prakash Mathur and Shashi Mathur. Following the worship, the story of Yam Dwitiya was narrated, and the Aarti of Shri Chitragupt Ji was performed.

During the award ceremony, 13 exceptional students were honored for their outstanding academic achievements. These students had secured over 75% marks in their 10th, 12th, undergraduate, postgraduate, and equivalent exams. The community also recognized children and members who had won awards at district, state, national, and international levels.

Additionally, 15 senior members, each over the age of 75, were honored with Shreephal, Shawl, and certificates as a mark of respect for their contribution to the community. The ceremony also celebrated 15 Bhama Shahs (generous donors) for their unwavering support to the community. Furthermore, 7 individuals were presented with Seva Samman for their selfless service to society.

Dr. Girish Nath Mathur, President of the Sabha, extended his best wishes to all the awardees and encouraged the youth to continue progressing the community in the future. After the ceremony, all attendees enjoyed a Sneh Bhoj (fellowship meal). The event was successfully conducted and concluded with a vote of thanks by the Chief Secretary, Dinesh Mathur.

A commemorative Smarnika (souvenir) showcasing photographs of the community’s achievements over the past two years was also unveiled during the event.
