Udaipur, The General Manager of North Western Railway, Shri Amitabh, conducted an inspection of the Regional Railway Training Institute (RRTI) in Udaipur on Saturday. The inspection was attended by the Chairperson of the Women’s Welfare Organization of North Western Railway, the Senior Divisional Engineer (South), Assistant Engineer of Ranapratap Nagar, Chief Depot Officer, Regional Manager of Udaipur City, and other officials.
During the visit, the Principal of the Regional Railway Training Institute, Shri Jay Prakash, presented a detailed overview of the ongoing activities and proposed upgrades to the training facilities. The General Manager toured the Demonstration Yard and Model Room, where he reviewed the ongoing work and instructed the officers to expedite its completion.
In the safety seminar, the General Manager addressed over 650 trainees, motivating them to work with vigilance and awareness. During the safety dialogue, he had a direct interaction with railway employees, where they shared the issues faced at their workstations. Several suggestions were gathered to enhance safety, and the General Manager announced that trainees providing valuable suggestions would be rewarded.
The General Manager emphasized the importance of developing the institute into a model and modern training center and discussed key initiatives for its development. As part of the visit, both the General Manager and the Chairperson of the Women’s Welfare Organization also participated in a tree-planting ceremony at the institute.
In recognition of the institute's outstanding work, the Chairperson of the Women’s Welfare Organization awarded the institute a cash prize of ₹25,000.
