Inactive Congress Members to be Removed: Gayri

Udaipur: A meeting was held in the Gogunda Assembly area under the Udaipur Dehat District Congress Committee as part of the ongoing organizational efforts instructed by the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee. The meeting was attended by Shankar Lal Gayri, the designated in-charge for Gogunda, and other key leaders.

Speaking at the meeting, Shankar Lal Gayri stated that members of the Block and Mandal Congress Committees who remain absent three times will be removed from their positions in the executive committee. He emphasized the importance of active participation and following the guidelines set by the Pradesh Congress President, Govind Singh Dotasra. These directives include holding at least one executive meeting every month for each Block and Mandal committee and forming a 11-member committee at the booth level, which should also meet monthly.

Gayri mentioned that only those members who actively work for the public and fight for their issues would be promoted within the party. He urged the attendees to make sure that every block committee remains active and that these initiatives help strengthen the party on the ground.

Lal Singh Jhala, General Secretary of the Pradesh Congress Committee, added that the real backbone of the Congress Party is the dedicated workers who continue to fight for the people, especially now when the party is out of power in the state. He stressed that committed workers would always find recognition and opportunity within the organization.

Kachru Lal Choudhary, President of the Dehat District Congress, expressed solidarity with Rahul Gandhi, the national leader of Congress, stating that Gandhi continues to fight for justice for the people, and it is essential to strengthen his efforts during these challenging times.

Former Minister Dr. Mangilal Garasia highlighted the difficulties the public faces due to the wrong policies of the current BJP government. He criticized the decision to shut down welfare programs initiated by the Congress government, which has harmed the people. He called on all workers to stay active and focus on strengthening the organization.

The meeting was conducted by Yogesh Paliwal, and many key figures in the local Congress Party attended, including Block Presidents, District Council members, and youth leaders.
