Entrepreneurs Must Register for Udyam Aadhar

Udaipur: "The state government has introduced several new incentive schemes to promote industrial investment in the state. The current time is most favorable for setting up new industries. Entrepreneurs should take maximum advantage of these schemes," stated Mr. P.N. Sharma during a seminar organized by UCCI and PHDCCI at UCCI in Udaipur.

The seminar, aimed at enlightening entrepreneurs of Udaipur division about the recently announced "One District One Product (ODOP)" scheme, was held to help micro and small entrepreneurs understand the government’s support programs. Dr. Pawan Telesra, Honorary General Secretary of UCCI, welcomed all the participants and explained that the seminar was designed to inform entrepreneurs about various incentive schemes. He also suggested increasing loan limits for MSME entrepreneurs.

During the event, Mr. R.K. Sharma from PHDCCI highlighted plans to organize an International Trade Expo to promote industry and business in Udaipur division. The Chief Guest, Mr. P.N. Sharma, Joint Commissioner of the State Government's Industry Department, shared valuable information on the ODOP scheme and the grants available under it for MSME sector entrepreneurs.

Mr. Shailendra Sharma, Joint Director & General Manager at District Industry Centre, provided insights on various government incentive schemes via a slide show. He also called for greater domestic manufacturing under the Prime Minister's "Make in India" initiative. 

Mr. Kapil Surana, President of the Udaipur Marble Processors Association, encouraged guidance for entrepreneurs to avail benefits of the government’s incentive schemes.

In addition, Mr. Sharbik Das Kashyap, Director of Sonali Biogas, spoke about business opportunities in the biogas sector for MSMEs, while Mr. Ram Singh Yadav from Yes Bank and Mr. Devnarayan Mali from Indian Fans Machine discussed credit facilities available for MSMEs. 

During the Q&A session, experts addressed the doubts and queries of the participants. UCCI President Mr. M.L. Lunawat informed attendees about the ongoing “Rajasthan International Trade Expo RITEX - 2025," which has seen a large turnout of city residents for shopping. The expo's main attraction is heavy discounts offered by vendors on various household products. In the evening, cultural programs featuring local and regional artists have been providing entertainment to visitors.

The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks from Mr. Prakashchandra Bolia, Honorary Treasurer of UCCI, who expressed gratitude to the experts and participants.
