The B Block Congress Committee of Udaipur, under the leadership of Block President Ajay Singh, held a highly successful meeting at Sindhu Bhavan in Bhupalpura on Wednesday at 4:30 PM. The meeting was attended by prominent leaders, including Udaipur city in-charge and PCC Secretary Dimple Kunwar Rathore, former Udaipur MP and former CWC member Raghuveer Singh Meena, former Udaipur MLA Trilok Purbiya, Udaipur Lok Sabha candidate and former District Collector Tarachand Meena, City District President Fateh Singh Rathore, PCC General Secretaries Gopal Sharma and Pankaj Sharma, PCC Secretary Dinesh Shrimali, senior leaders KK Sharma, Dr. Daryav Singh Chundawat, Dr. Rao Kalyan Singh, and Satyanarayana Mangroora. Over 400 Congress workers were present at the meeting.
Devendra Mali, the spokesperson for B Block, mentioned that Block Organizational Secretary Surya Prakash Upadhyay briefed the in-charge about the block's activities. The discussion centered around strengthening the Congress Party for the upcoming municipal elections, with key contributions from the six B Block Mandal Presidents – Rakesh Khokhawat, Amit Suhalka, Mayank Khamsera, Shyam Sundar Gurjar, Satyanarayana Tok, and Mahesh Dhanawat. All participants unanimously pledged that Congress will ensure that the BJP does not form the board in the municipal corporation this time. They committed to working tirelessly to make sure Congress secures the board.
The meeting ended with a collective vow to prepare vigorously for the upcoming November elections, focusing on addressing the public's issues. Senior leader Dr. Rao Kalyan Singh expressed gratitude and appreciation at the end of the event. The program also saw the participation of the leaders of various Congress wings, such as Harshvardhan Singh Goldy (President of the Front Organization), Najma Mevfarosh (President of the Women’s Congress), Shailendra Audichya (Seva Dal), student leader Devendra Singh, Seema Pancholi, former councilor Shipra Upadhyay, Sanjay Bhagatani, Gaurav Pratap Singh, and others. Notably, the attendance of women workers was notably high.
Senior Congress leaders present at the meeting expressed their happiness, stating that the B Block meeting has infused fresh energy into Udaipur's Congress. The meeting has successfully reignited the spirit of Udaipur's Congress and invigorated its organizational efforts.
