Collector Chairs District Health Committee Meeting

Udaipur: A monthly review meeting of the District Health Committee was held on Wednesday in the District Council Hall, chaired by District Collector Namit Mehta. The meeting began with a welcome for the Collector, followed by the inauguration of the Immunization Bill by the World Health Organization (WHO).  

Collector Mehta emphasized that being a doctor is a responsible and sensitive profession. He urged health professionals to set daily targets and submit progress reports at the district level. He also stressed the importance of ensuring that as many people as possible benefit from the Chief Minister's Ayushman Arogya Scheme. Furthermore, he emphasized the necessity of institutional deliveries for availing the benefits of various government schemes, urging pregnant women and their families to be encouraged towards institutional deliveries.  

**Positive Change through Makeovers**  
In the meeting, the Collector directed that all Community Health Centers (CHCs) in the district undergo a makeover in the next four months to create a positive atmosphere for patients visiting the facility. He spoke about providing better healthcare services in the district and ensuring that patients benefit from various government schemes.  

He instructed all Block Chief Medical Officers (BCMOs) to work as a team to meet their targets, charge-sheet institutions not booking packages under the Ayushman Arogya Scheme, ensure that 60% of IPD patients are enrolled in the packages, complete the makeover of their CHCs within the next two months, and make the family welfare program more effective.  

District Council CEO Riya Dabi discussed the department’s various schemes in detail, emphasizing timely implementation and expressing dissatisfaction over the low progress of Ayushman cards, with the state ranking 36th. She instructed all BCMOs to improve progress and send daily reports.  

**Focus on Health and Speedy Work**  
CMHO Dr. Ashok Aditya highlighted the need to expedite the process of completing the pending sickle cell anemia cases and the creation of ABHA IDs, noting that Udaipur is ranked first in the state for creating ABHA IDs.  

Additional Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Ragini Agarwal emphasized speeding up the process of making eKYC Ayushman Bharat cards and ensuring timely distribution. She also instructed an increase in sterilization cases under the Family Welfare Program in Kotda, Gogunda, Jhadol, and Kherwara.  

RCHO Dr. Rakesh Gupta briefed about the annual target for ANC registrations and the progress of immunization. The Collector specifically directed attention to Kotda for institutional deliveries and instructed increasing facilities in areas with fewer deliveries to boost the numbers.  

In the meeting, further instructions were given for the **Maa Voucher Scheme**, issuing vouchers as needed, conducting sonography within a month, using 104 ambulances when necessary, making the Anemia-Free Rajasthan program more effective, and issuing birth certificates through PCTS IDs.  

DPC Dr. Mohan Dhakad, DDW, mentioned that Udaipur district is performing well in the Free Medicine and Test Scheme. He urged all institutions to make timely online entries for patient prescriptions and ensure the completion of all activities outlined in the department's 8-point agenda.  

Mohammad Hussain Bohra discussed the FP-LMIS portal, Deputy CMHO Dr. Ankit Jain covered the NCD rankings, and District Tuberculosis Officer Dr. Ashutosh Singhal provided updates on the treatment and facilities for TB patients in the district.
