Udaipur: On the third day of the 68th National Cricket Competition for school girls under 19, organized by SGFI, hosted at Mahatma Gandhi Government School, Sundarwas, Udaipur, thrilling matches were played. The competition was conducted under the guidance of the Directorate of Bikaner, the Joint Director of School Education, and the District Education Officer of Secondary Headquarters.
The chief umpire of the national competition, Kailash Meena, informed that various league matches were played as per the SGFI schedule on Friday. Dr. Lokesh Bharti, the District Education Officer of Secondary Headquarters, Udaipur, expressed his happiness over the first-ever large-scale national competition being held in Udaipur, calling it a matter of pride for the district and the school.
Laxman Salvi, the Deputy District Education Officer of Physical Education, mentioned that in the match between Maharashtra and Telangana, Maharashtra emerged victorious. In the match played at Railway Ground between CISCE and Gujarat, Gujarat won. At the MB A Sports Ground, Chhattisgarh defeated Haryana.
Murli Dhar Chobisa, the Additional District Education Officer and Event Secretary, shared that in the match between Madhya Pradesh and Bihar, Madhya Pradesh won. Andhra Pradesh triumphed over Chandigarh, West Bengal won against Tamil Nadu, and Uttarakhand emerged victorious in the match against Kerala.
Gopal Mehta Menaria, a member of the media committee for the competition, reported that Jammu and Kashmir defeated IPSC in a tough contest. Punjab won against Chandigarh, Haryana emerged victorious over Gujarat, West Bengal defeated CBSE WSO, and Maharashtra won a strong match against Bihar.
