Udaipur. Tribal Area Development (TAD) Minister Shri Babulal Kharadi stated that today we take pride in seeing children from the tribal community in roles like collectors, SPs, and holding high administrative positions. The talents honored at this event represent our bright future. Shri Kharadi was addressing the Tribal Talent Award Ceremony organized by the Tribal Area Development Department and TRI at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Auditorium in the Udaipur Municipal Corporation building on Tuesday. He emphasized that if our values are not right, no matter how high we rise in our careers, our respect in society will be compromised. Respecting elders, preserving our culture, and safeguarding the legacy of our ancestors are our collective responsibilities.
**Empower Through Education and Fulfill Our Responsibilities**
Minister Kharadi urged the students to set big goals. He assured that the department and government are fully ready to assist them. He mentioned that in the near future, they will offer free IAS coaching to children, and emphasized the importance of becoming capable and qualified, not just for securing jobs but to rise with the intention of becoming owners by gaining education. He said, "We have a responsibility to society and the country, which we must fulfill by empowering ourselves through education."
**Indian Culture Does Not Have Old Age Homes**
Shri Kharadi also highlighted that Indian culture does not have a provision for old-age homes but promotes "Shravan Kumar" culture, which places parents at the highest regard. He mentioned that when one attains a position, it should be accompanied by a spirit of service, and only then will society truly honor them. He encouraged drawing inspiration from people whose positive contributions are still remembered by society and the nation. He called on the youth to contribute their best in every field they enter and work with the motivation to serve the country. He also pointed out that it is our responsibility to stop the cultural pollution spreading in society and that we should learn from the incidents occurring in neighboring countries.
**Elected Representatives Inspire the Talents**
In his address as the special guest, Udaipur Lok Sabha MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat said that we should resolve to improve every day and remember that the future of the country lies in your hands. He stressed that all of you will play an important role in the vision of a developed India. Both the central and state governments have committed to making every possible effort for the development of the tribal community. Udaipur Rural MLA Phoolsingh Meena inspired students with the importance of education, sharing his personal experiences. Udaipur City MLA Tarachand Jain emphasized that education positively impacts families and society, and even individuals from ordinary families can reach great heights with their talent.
**197 Tribal Talents from Scheduled Areas Honored**
During the Tribal Talent Award Ceremony, a total of 197 tribal students and youth from various sectors of the scheduled areas were honored with certificates and scarfs by the dignitaries. This included 32 students (17 boys and 15 girls) from class 10, 20 students (11 boys and 9 girls) from class 12, 26 youths (14 males and 12 females) selected for gazetted services, 101 students (61 boys and 40 girls) who passed the NEET exam, 21 UG students (12 boys and 9 girls), 4 PG students, and 3 Ph.D. scholars.
The event was attended by Regional and TAD Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani, Additional Commissioner TAD Geetesh Shri Malviya, TRI Director OP Jain, TAD Deputy Commissioner Ragini Damor, along with department officials, a large number of tribal talents, and their families.
