Udaipur : On the occasion of the state-level Birsa Munda Birth Anniversary Tribal Pride Day celebration held in Banswara, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma honored two emerging tribal sports talents from Udaipur district. Dalai Gameti, a student from the Government Senior Secondary School in Dhar, and former student Mohanlal Gameti were recognized for their remarkable achievements in sports.
Dalai Gameti has won several accolades, including a silver medal at the Asian Lacrosse Championship, a gold medal at the Lacrosse Federation Cup, a gold medal as the highest scorer in the Junior National Lacrosse Championship, and a bronze medal in Sub-Junior Tennis Ball Cricket. Meanwhile, Mohanlal Gameti, a student of Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, was honored for his leadership as the captain of the Rajasthan Senior Lacrosse Team and his gold medals in the Federation Cup and Junior National Lacrosse Championship.
The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Tribal Development Minister Babulal Kharadi, former Minister Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya, Dali Chand Maida, Kadi MLA Kailash Meena, Sagwara MLA Shankar Decha, former Ministers Dhansingh Rawat, former MP Man Shankar Ninama, former MLA Anita Katara, Secretary of Tribal Regional Development Bhanu Prakash Etru, former Parliamentary Secretary Bhimabhai, Divisional and Tribal Commissioners Pragya Kevalramani, among others.
Promoters and notable figures from various sectors also attended to congratulate the tribal talents, including Rajasthan State Mines and Minerals Limited, Udaipur MP Mannalal Rawat, Udaipur Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena, Deputy Commissioner TAD Gitesh Shri Malviya, Ragini Damor, Vice Chancellor of Janardan Rai Nagar University Dr. S.S.
