"BJP Works for Capitalists; It Has No Concern for Common People" - Ritvik Makwana

Udaipur: A meeting for the assembly by-elections in the Salumber constituency was conducted by Ritvik Makwana for party officials and workers. According to Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit, spokesperson for the Udaipur Rural District Congress Committee, the meeting discussed preparations for the by-elections.

The meeting was held at the Block Congress Office in Salumber, where Ritvik Makwana was welcomed with a traditional Mevadi pagri and turban by Kachru Lal Choudhary, President of the Udaipur Rural District Congress, and former MP Raghuveer Singh Meena. Former Minister Ashok Chanda, appointed observer for the constituency, along with other leaders, was also welcomed.

During the meeting, Ritvik Makwana stated, "The BJP only works for capitalists. In every region where the BJP governs, policies and schemes are designed to benefit the interests of capitalists. The Modi government at the center operates in the same way. Just as the British ran companies for their own benefit before independence, today's BJP central and state governments function like corporations, indifferent to the struggles of the common people. We must unite against such forces and defeat them. These by-elections will mark the beginning of the end for those who govern like a corporation, and we will initiate the end of BJP's misrule by winning these elections."

Kachru Lal Choudhary emphasized, "The 'Parchi Government' has been in power for over ten months in Rajasthan, but there is no governance in sight. This government merely follows orders from Delhi. It lacks a vision and has left the people of Rajasthan suffering. The truth about the 'Parchi Government' will be revealed in the upcoming by-elections, and we will see a clean sweep against the BJP in all seven assembly constituencies, resulting in Congress's victory."

Former Minister Ashok Chanda urged workers to reach out to the public, saying, "In these by-elections, we must convey that only Congress can ensure development, whether at the national or state level. The BJP and other regional parties lack a vision for progress. Only Congress can alleviate the hardships of the common people. I have contested three elections and worked in nine constituencies, and with your blessings, we have won all twelve elections. This time, we will fight these by-elections together and emerge victorious."

Tarachand Meena, a Congress candidate from the Udaipur Lok Sabha constituency, stated, "In a democracy, winning elections means working for the people. One can create a government through deception, but if there is no action, the people will quickly show their discontent. The message across Rajasthan is clear: the BJP government has failed to deliver in the past ten months. Thus, these by-elections will determine the state’s direction and will serve as a mirror for the BJP government, revealing its failures. We must ensure the victory of the Congress candidate from Salumber to send a strong message to the BJP."

The meeting was also addressed by former MP Raghuveer Singh Meena, PCC General Secretary Dr. Rajendra Mund, former MLA Ram Lal Meena, and PCC-appointed Udaipur Rural District Congress In-Charge Mrs. Kalpana Bhatnagar.

Key attendees included Ritvik Makwana, Ashok Chanda, Kachru Lal Choudhary, Raghuveer Singh Meena, Dr. Rajendra Mund, Tarachand Meena, Mrs. Kalpana Bhatnagar, former MLA Basanti Devi Meena, PCC Secretary Lalit Boriwal, former MLA Ram Lal Meena, Prem Patiyadar, Block Presidents, and numerous party officials and Congress workers.
