Inauguration of Cooperative Supermarket in Hirun Magri Sector 8

Udaipur —The Minister of State for Cooperation and Civil Aviation, Shri Gautam Dack, inaugurated the Cooperative Supermarket located in Sector 8 during his visit to Udaipur on Saturday. He also presented awards to the winners of the Cooperative Wholesale Store's Diwali Fest.

Addressing the gathering, the chief guest, Shri Dack, emphasized that providing high-quality products to consumers is our top priority. He stated that through the wholesale store, our aim is not only to sell and earn but also to ensure product quality to maintain public trust. He highlighted the longstanding reputation of consumer stores and noted that the cooperative sector remains strong in Udaipur. "We must ensure the quality of products we sell, as there should be no compromise on quality. If new stores maintain this standard, success will surely follow," he remarked.

**Upholding Public Trust**
Shri Dack reiterated that through consumer stores, efforts are being made to provide superior products to the public in every district. He encouraged the public to share suggestions for the improvement and progress of the stores. Following Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's call, he stressed the need to promote organic farming, emphasizing concern for the country’s future. He urged store operators and staff to do everything possible to uphold public trust and maintain transparency in the organization's records.

**Towards Prosperity through Cooperation**
Shri Dack explained that today anyone can start a petrol pump business through cooperative means. He reiterated the motto of the central government's cooperative department: "Prosperity through Cooperation." He mentioned that various initiatives can be undertaken through the cooperative sector, creating new employment opportunities. A new cooperative code is proposed to strengthen cooperative institutions in the near future. Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasia also addressed the event, highlighting the distinct quality of products from consumer stores, which is why these products are reaching homes.

At the beginning of the event, cooperative committee administrator Premprakash Mandot and other officials welcomed Minister Dack and the other guests. Mr. Mandot also presented a progress report on departmental schemes. The event was attended by city MLA Tarachand Jain, rural MLA Phool Singh Meena, social worker Pramod Samar, Ravindra Shrimali, Chandragupt Singh Chauhan, along with officials from the cooperative department and other distinguished guests.

**Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony**
Minister Dack and other guests inaugurated the Cooperative Supermarket in Sector 8 by cutting the ribbon. The Minister took a tour of the supermarket, gathering information about the materials available there.

During the ceremony, Minister Dack distributed awards to the winners of the Cooperative Wholesale Store's Diwali Fest.
