Udaipur - Dr. Shailendra Pandya, a youth social worker from Udaipur, was honored by the Governor of Maharashtra during the National Youth Summit organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, held at the Raj Bhavan in Mumbai. This event was part of the 15th Adivasi Youth Empowerment Program, taking place from October 27 to November 2, 2023, in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
The National Youth Summit brought together selected youth from across the nation, and the Chief Guest of the event was the Honorable Governor of Maharashtra, Ramesh Bais. During the summit, the Governor engaged in dialogue with these young leaders.
Dr. Shailendra Pandya, a dedicated youth social worker from Udaipur, Rajasthan, who has long been working for the welfare of tribal children and was a former member of the Rajasthan Child Commission and the Government of Rajasthan, was conferred the "Social Jewel Award 2023" by the Governor.
