Udaipur: On the occasion of the 25th Foundation Day of the renowned Public Pranyas Temple, Shri Mahakaaleshwar, a spectacular event and rituals were organized. Secretary of Pranyas, Mr. Chandrashekhar Dadhich, shared that the event began with a traditional worship and invocation of Lord Shri Mahakaaleshwar in a meticulously prescribed manner during the Silver Jubilee celebrations.
Early in the morning, a thousand-streamed abhishek (ritualistic pouring of sacred substances) was performed on the deity of Lord Shiva, followed by recitation of Rudra path (a Vedic hymn) at the Mahadev shrine. Subsequently, a traditional worship ceremony was held at the Narbadeshwar Mahadev shrine situated in the assembly hall.
Advocate Chandrashekhar Dadhich, Secretary of Public Pranyas Temple Shri Mahakaaleshwar, highlighted that the festivities included the traditional religious rituals at the Shri Mahakaaleshwar Mahadev Temple located in Rani Road. Devotees of Lord Shiva began arriving well before sunrise to offer their prayers and to perform the ritualistic jal abhishek (water pouring) in devotion. Thousands of Shiva devotees participated and chanted hymns in honor of Lord Shiva.
As part of the ceremonial proceedings, a Vedic invocation was conducted by the Savan Mahotsav Committee, wherein the Mahakaaleshwar deity received an abhishek with a thousand streams of water from various holy rivers, including the Panchamrit (a mixture of milk, curd, honey, sugar, and ghee). Additionally, various sacred waters from holy rivers were brought and used for the abhishek.
During the occasion of installing the foundation stone and the Silver Jubilee celebrations, the traditional worship and rituals were conducted at the temple premises. Ganesh Ji, Hanuman Ji, Bhairav Ji, Saint Bholenath Ji, and Oghadi Mai were honored with proper rituals and offerings.
Mr. Sunil Bhatt, President of the Mahotsav Committee, mentioned that thousands of devotees participated in the sacred jal abhishek of Lord Shiva during the Shravan month and the additional month, symbolizing a grand expression of devotion. Later, in the evening, a massive devotional musical evening was organized by the Vikram Nokum and Party, filling the air with soul-stirring hymns that resonated with the hearts of thousands of Shiva devotees.
Representatives from Maharshi Dadhichi Mitramandal and Maharudra Mandal, along with Dashanarath, provided darshan and distributed prasad (religious offering) to Shiva devotees who visited the Mahakaaleshwar Temple. This gesture was met with gratitude and appreciation from the devotees.
A magnificent devotional musical evening and the entire temple premises were adorned with elaborate decorations orchestrated by Shankar Kumawat and Manish Kumawat. As part of the celebrations, acknowledgments were presented on stage, including floral tributes, shawls, turbans, and commendation letters, to Pranyas members and performers.
Members of the Ann Yagna Seva Samiti, K.G. Paliwal, Bhavarlal, Drapud Singh, and Ramesh Rajput, provided their services to ensure the comfort and convenience of devotees who arrived from the early hours of the morning to participate in the sacred rituals.
