Water Service Is Supreme Service: RO Plant and Water Cooler Installed by ENSS

Udaipur. “Water service is the noblest of services — for without water, life and learning stand incomplete,” said Dr. Sunita Mishra, Vice Chancellor of Mohanlal Sukhadia University. She was addressing a gathering at the inauguration ceremony of a new water cooler and RO plant installed at the Department of Fashion Technology & Designing. The facility has been donated by the Eklingnath National Service Organisation as a part of their continued commitment to community welfare.

Speaking on Friday, Dr. Mishra highlighted the invaluable role of water in daily life, especially in educational environments. “It is a commendable act by the Eklingnath National Service Organisation. This contribution will be remembered as a lasting gesture of service to the students, particularly young women who attend sewing and fashion technology training here,” she stated.

She expressed deep appreciation for the organisation’s Founder-President Akash Bagdi, lauding his dedication to social service. Dr. Mishra also acknowledged the sincere efforts of Department Head Dr. Dolly Mogra in enhancing the department’s facilities. She assured that the two vacant buildings within the university premises would soon be handed over to the department, thereby expanding its capacity to train more women and girls in tailoring and fashion design.

Dean Prof. Madan Singh Rathore also extended his gratitude to the Eklingnath National Service Organisation. He reiterated the university’s ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and student welfare. “With new facilities and additional space, the department will soon reach greater heights of excellence,” he added.

Akash Bagdi, the Founder-President of Eklingnath National Service Organisation, reaffirmed the organisation’s mission to promote the ideals of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao (Save the Daughter, Educate the Daughter). “We are committed to supporting women’s education and empowerment through every possible initiative,” he said.

The inauguration ceremony concluded with the Vice Chancellor formally opening the water cooler by cutting the ribbon. Department heads Dr. Dolly Mogra and Ms. Rekha Purohit extended a warm welcome to all the dignitaries present and expressed their thanks for the generous support.

This initiative stands as a strong example of how civil society and educational institutions can collaborate to uplift women and build a more sustainable and inclusive future.
