He urged community leaders to remain vigilant and guide the youth positively so that the true spirit of festivals remains intact. He called for cooperative celebrations and urged people to avoid causing inconvenience to others.
Mehta highlighted the role of elders in guiding the younger generation and preventing disruptive activities. He urged all communities to make collective efforts to maintain harmony and not escalate minor issues unnecessarily. The police-administration will maintain continuous dialogue with community leaders to ensure smooth celebrations. Representatives of various communities expressed gratitude to the administration for successfully managing past religious events.
Superintendent of Police Yogesh Goyal assured that police officers will ensure that no community faces any inconvenience during the festivities. He stated that miscreants are under strict surveillance, with CCTV cameras actively monitoring public places and additional cameras being installed where required. He urged committee members and community leaders to report any suspicious activities immediately to the administration and police.
SP Goyal warned against spreading rumors, fake news, provocative videos, or inflammatory posts on social media. He stated that a special police cell is monitoring social media handles, and strict action will be taken against those spreading misinformation or communal tension.
