Udaipur – The grand annual function of Neerja Modi School, managed by the Sojatia Group, was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, alongside special guests Rajasthan’s Cooperative and Civil Aviation Minister Gautam Dak, Udaipur Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena, Udaipur Sarafa Association President Yashwant Anjalia, industrialist and philanthropist Suresh Gundesha, Sanket Modi, Pacific Group CEO Sharad Kothari, and Sports Officer Mahesh Paliwal.
The program commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony before Goddess Saraswati by the school’s founder, Professor Ranjit Singh Sojatia, accompanied by Chairman Dr. Mahendra Sojatia, Secretary Mrs. Reena Sojatia, Trustees Dr. Dhruv Sojatia and Mr. Nehal Sojatia, Director Sakshi Sojatia, Advisor Dr. Mukesh Shrimali, Mrs. Shubha Govil, and Principal Dr. Brajraj Singh Baghela.
The event began with Saraswati Vandana and a melodious orchestra performance by the school. A mesmerizing dance by the schoolgirls on Devi Shakti set the stage for the evening.
The detailed annual report, presented by Principal Dr. Brajraj Singh Baghela, Head Boy Daivik Veerwal, Head Girl Tejashree Sharma, and students Hiral Sharma, Garvit Sharma, and Manaditya Singh Jhala, was applauded by the parents. The dignitaries were welcomed with traditional Mewari honors, including shawls, safas, and garlands.
The event revolved around the themes "The House of Magic" and "From Earth to Mars." The former depicted the story of a girl, Miraya, who unites her family by showcasing the power of love and unity over magical abilities. The latter traced India's journey from independence to its achievements in modern times. NMS Orchestra’s musical performance and dance presentations captivated the audience, with students from Pre-Nursery to Class 12 participating and leaving a lasting impression.
Governor Kataria praised the school’s contribution to world-class education in Udaipur, emphasizing the role of education in nation-building and India’s vision to become a global leader by 2047. Rajasthan Minister Gautam Dak commended the school for its quality education and remarkable achievements.
Chairman Dr. Mahendra Sojatia highlighted how such functions build students' confidence and provide a platform for showcasing their talents. Director Sakshi Sojatia expressed gratitude to all participants, parents, and staff, emphasizing the event's role in inspiring students.
Awards were presented to students for their exceptional achievements, including Navya Sharma (National Debate), Yashika Bansiwal, Yagyashrey Singh Solanki (Shooting), Priyanidhi Boliwal, Nitya Sharma, Dwisha Salvi, Mandavi Singh Chauhan, Adarsh Nagda, Saloni Upadhyay, Kashvi Modi, and Ridan Sharma (Sports), and Annanya Chougle (National Art Competition).
The event concluded with a flash mob featuring patriotic songs, enjoyed by parents and students alike. The Principal extended a vote of thanks to close the celebration.
