Demand Charter to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot from Qazi Zubair Ahmed, led by Akhtar Khan Akala, regarding the main demands of Kota:

Dear Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot,

We, the delegation led by Qazi Zubair Ahmed, representing the people of Kota, would like to bring to your attention the following crucial demands and issues that require urgent action and resolution:

1. Renovation of Barkat Udyan Ibadatghar: We humbly request your support in facilitating the restoration of Barkat Udyan Ibadatghar, named after former Chief Minister Barkatullah. This project holds immense cultural significance for the people of Kota and requires your attention.

2. Resolution of Land Disputes: We request your intervention in resolving the ongoing land disputes, such as the encroachment on Waqf properties, the Idgah road shopping center case, and the encroachment on the Rangpur station madrasa property. These issues need to be addressed promptly and the rightful ownership of the land should be restored.

3. Educational Reforms: We urge you to focus on improving educational opportunities in Kota. This includes opening Urdu schools and colleges, appointing qualified Urdu teachers, recruiting computer instructors who are proficient in Urdu, and ensuring the adequate staffing and resources for madrassas. Additionally, we request the establishment of an Unani College in Kota to promote alternative medicine.

4. Government Appointments and Representation: We seek fair representation and opportunities for the Muslim community in government appointments and public institutions. This involves recommending qualified individuals from the Muslim community for positions such as IAS, including Muslim members in RPSC, and increasing the number of minority welfare committees.

5. Infrastructure Development: We emphasize the need for infrastructure development in Kota. This includes renovating and maintaining historical sites like Adharshila Kota and addressing the issue of unclean water in the vicinity. We also request the allocation of land for Muslim hostels and the development of basic amenities for poor and orphan children.

6. Recognition and Protection of Waqf Properties: We request a comprehensive survey of Waqf properties to identify and remove any government or non-government encroachments. These properties should be properly recorded in revenue records and protected for the benefit of the Muslim community.

7. Enhancement of Minority Scholarships and Coaching Support: We urge you to increase the budget allocation for minority scholarships and coaching programs. Furthermore, we request a higher number of tickets for the Muslim community in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly elections to ensure fair political representation.

We sincerely hope that you will consider our demands and take appropriate actions to address the pressing issues faced by the people of Kota. We believe that your leadership and support can bring about positive change and improve the lives of the citizens in our city.
