Rajasthan Day Celebrations: CM Bhajanlal Sharma Inaugurates ₹10,000 Crore Development Projects

Bhilwara/Jaipur, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma emphasized that Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas is the guiding principle of good governance. He reiterated the government's commitment to transforming Rajasthan into a prosperous and developed state.

Addressing the State-Level Development & Good Governance Festival in Bhilwara, CM Sharma paid tribute to the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, for his instrumental role in unifying Rajputana’s princely states. He announced that Rajasthan Day would now be celebrated annually on Chaitra Shukla Pratipada.

Major Announcements and Initiatives:

Targeting Corruption & Ensuring Progress

CM Sharma criticized the previous government for corruption scandals, exam paper leaks, and economic mismanagement, which led to instability in the state. He highlighted that unlike the previous administration’s symbolic investment summits, his government has successfully secured ₹35 lakh crore in MoUs through the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit.

Accelerating Rajasthan’s Growth

The government has taken significant steps to:
✅ Provide daytime electricity for farmers by 2027 ⚡
✅ Deliver tap water to 12 lakh rural households 🚰
✅ Launch Ram Jal Setu Link Project & Yamuna Water Agreement 💧
✅ Strengthen job opportunities & regional development 🏭

CM Sharma concluded by affirming that good governance is the key to progress, aligning with PM Narendra Modi’s vision of responsive and transparent governance.

Honoring Excellence in Administration

On this occasion, government officials, including District Collectors of Chittorgarh & Dungarpur, DG Cyber Crime Sharad Kaviraj, and DG Bikaner Range Omprakash, were honored with the Atal E-Governance State Award for their outstanding contributions.

The event witnessed the presence of key dignitaries, including Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, Deputy CM Dr. Premchand Bairwa, several ministers, MLAs, and a large gathering of citizens and beneficiaries, both physically and via video conferencing.
