SAPTA SHAKTI COMMAND HELD EX-SERVICEMEN RALLY  AT BATHINDA MILITARY STATION

Jaipur: Sapta Shakti Command conducted an Ex-Servicemen Rally at Salaria Sports Stadium, Bathinda Military Station on 23 Mar 2025. Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command, while addressing the gathering extended a warm welcome to all veterans and their next of kin and honored them for their selfless service and sacrifice made by them towards the nation. The event saw enthusiastic participation by approximately 5000 retired soldiers & families from Bathinda and Mansa District. The Army Commander felicitated the Ex-servicemen and the Veer Naris. The theme of the program was “Serving, Veterans and Civil Administration together”.

The event also saw huge participation by Civil Administration including District Collector and the representatives of various departments of Ministry of Defence viz. Directorate of Indian Army Veterans, Army Welfare Placement Organisation, Defence Pension Disbursing Office and   Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme. Their representatives informed them about various schemes extended by the respective agencies towards the welfare of the Ex-servicemen. During the rally, a number of issues were clarified and grievances of the veterans were addressed.
In addition, Large number of banks participated by putting their stalls and enlighten veterans on various benefits provided by the banks to them. They also resolved their pension issues. Stalls by the civil administration and the state government were also placed which educated the Ex-servicemen & their dependents about various state government schemes. The Ex-servicemen were also briefed on the SPARSH software in detail and given handouts on over it which help them to resolving pension issues and minimising discrepancies. The Rally was reflects the commitment of Sapta Shakti Command towards the welfare of veterans and veer naris.
