Asian Legends League 2025 T20 Tournament Drafting and Jersey Launch Completed

Jaipu Cricket fans are in for a treat as some of Asia’s legendary cricketers will showcase their skills once again at the Asian Legends League 2025 T20 Tournament. Scheduled to take place at the MPMSC Ground in Nathdwara, Udaipur, the tournament will run from March 10 to March 18, featuring teams from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Qatar, UAE, and Afghanistan competing in a thrilling series.

In preparation for the tournament, a drafting event was held in Jaipur, where over 300 international players participated. Five teams were officially formed during the event. The occasion was graced by League Commissioner and former BCCI selector Chetan Sharma, Miraj Group Vice Chairman Mantraraj Paliwal, MPMSC’s Laxman Diwan, League CEO Mahavir Prasad Sharma, EMCL Founder and League Organizer Ravi Kumar Yadav, and All T20 Director Neeraj Kukreja. Bollywood actor and cricket expert Sameer Kochhar and Star Sports commentator Sagarika Chhetri were also present at the event.

Teams and Star Players Announced
According to Jaipur-based league organizer Ravi Yadav, the five participating teams are:

Indian Royals – Irfan Pathan, Shikhar Dhawan, Yusuf Pathan

Sri Lanka Lions – Thisara Perera, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Upul Tharanga

Afghanistan Pathans – Asghar Afghan, Mohammad Shahzad, Samiullah Shinwari

Bangladesh Tigers – Mohammad Ashraful, Tamim Iqbal, Naim Islam

Asian Stars – Kedar Jadhav, Saurabh Tiwary (India), Mehran Khan (Oman), Abdul Shakoor (UAE)

The tournament will feature 15 matches over nine days, with live telecast on Star Sports.

Grand Opening Night in Nathdwara
Speaking about the significance of the tournament, Mantraraj Paliwal highlighted that this event would bring new opportunities and recognition to Nathdwara. He emphasized that it would be the first-ever international tournament in the holy town of Shrinathji, making it a historic occasion.

The opening night on March 10 promises to be a spectacular event, featuring Bollywood celebrities, popular singers, dazzling fireworks, over 100 dancers, a drone show, and much more. Cricket fans will also witness star players like Irfan Pathan, Suresh Raina, Virender Sehwag, and Yusuf Pathan, making this league an unmissable experience.
