Jaipur: In a major step towards holistic healthcare in the station a new Sapta Shakti Wellness Centre (SSWC) has been commissioned in Jaipur Military Station on 07 Feb 2025. This unique and innovative initiative, spearheaded by the Sapta Shakti Command, aims to provide comprehensive health and wellness facilities under one roof to the veterans, serving soldiers and their families.
A ‘Hub for Holistic Healthcare’, the wellness centre integrates traditional and modern medical approaches to ensure physical, mental and emotional well-being of all dependents. The centre offering free-of-cost specialised services, includes an Ayurveda Clinic, a Homeopathy Clinic, Dietician Services, Physiotherapy department and Wellness (Psychological) Counsellor.
The Physiotherapy Unit is equipped with state-of-the-art tools for Managing musculoskeletal conditions such as back pain, osteoarthritis, frozen shoulders and sports injuries. It will assist in mobility improvement, pain relief and rehabilitation for conditions and exercise training. The Dietician Services will facilitate personalised nutrition plans, dietary counselling, preventive healthcare, sports nutrition, and therapeutic diet guidance, ensuring guidance for optimal health. Apart from these, Psychological Counsellors will also facilitate one-on-one counselling, group discussions and door step counselling to foster mental resilience.
A key highlight of the centre is the Ayurveda Herbal Lane, where visitors can learn about medicinal plants. They can learn to identify and learn about therapeutic benefits of medicinal plants under the guidance of Ayurveda practitioners.
The Sapta Shakti Wellness Centre is one of its kind endeavour towards promoting holistic health and fitness for veterans, serving soldiers & families. It reinforces the commitment of the Sapta Shakti Command to a healthier, stronger, and more resilient armed forces community.
