Jaipur. A joint meeting of the Patron Council and Standing Committee of the Rajasthan Teachers' Association (Siyaram) was held at Petroleum House, Jaipur, under the guidance of Chief Patron and Administrative President Siyaram Sharma and presided over by State President Virendra Sharma.

The association’s General Secretary, Naveen Kumar Sharma, stated that officials expressed gratitude to the Education Minister for conducting DPC (Departmental Promotion Committee) on a large scale to promote senior teachers to lecturers, vice principals to principals, and principals to district education officers for differently-abled candidates. Additionally, they demanded a review DPC for past sessions and the timely completion of pending DPCs for upcoming sessions.

Officials also expressed discontent over the government's failure to implement a transparent and permanent teacher transfer policy, despite completing more than a year in office. Other key demands raised included promotion of graduate teachers, financial approval for lecturer positions in newly upgraded higher secondary schools, adequate budget allocation for SNA, hard duty allowance for PO principals, a ₹3,600 vehicle allowance for differently-abled teachers, and the resolution of teacher salary discrepancies.

The Convenor of the Struggle Committee and Chief General Secretary, Ummed Singh Dudi, announced that due to the government's negligence, the association will organize a massive protest at the State Assembly in the coming days, with participation from over ten thousand teachers from across the state.

State Spokesperson Mukesh Kumar Meena informed that various teacher demands and organizational issues were discussed during the meeting. Chief Patron Siyaram Sharma urged all office bearers to undertake extensive visits to strengthen the association.

The meeting was attended by Patrons Banwari Lal Saini, Suresh Chandra Sharma, Rajendra Prasad Sharma, Ranveer Singh Godara, State Executive President Ramdayal Meena, Chief General Secretary Ummed Singh Dudi, Vice Presidents Mohit Trivedi, Narendra Singh Chauhan, Pawan Sharma, Treasurer Banwari Lal Gautam, Women’s President Meena Mansuriya, and other key officials.

State President Virendra Sharma concluded the meeting by extending his gratitude to all participants.
