Jaipur: Sapta Shakti Command, on the occasion of the Republic Day, felicitated two exceptionally talented students, Shruti and Nidhi for their outstanding achievements in the Project Veergatha 4.0 competitions organised at national level. Both students were presented with letters of appreciation and prizes on behalf of Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command for their success.
Army Commander extended his appreciation and heartiest congratulations for the dedication and hard work exhibited by these young children. He also emphasised on the importance of nurturing young talent and encouraging them to continue their journey of excellence, patriotism, and creativity.
Project Veer Gatha is a joint initiative by the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Education. The project aims to instill a sense of patriotism in students by disseminating information and conducting various competitions about the heroic deeds of Gallantry Award recipients and India's freedom fighters. Out of one hundred students who were selected at national level in Project Veer Gatha 4.0, two students Shruti and Nidhi are from the area of Sapta Shakti Command.
Shruti, an enthusiastic student from KM Public School, Hansi Road, Bhiwani, Haryana, was selected in the Paragraph Writing Competition, while Nidhi, a student from Government Senior Secondary School, Katara Aziz, Todabhim, who has been always interested in drawing and painting, was selected in the Painting Competition under the same national level initiative.
South Western command has undertaken numerous such initiatives including outreach programme, motivation lectures & interactions, ‘Know Your Army’ melas and many more activities for the motivation of the young generations and instilling the spirit of nationalism in them.
