The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Bikaner Technical University. Dr. Yadunath Singh, Dean of Academics, hoisted the national flag and saluted the tricolor, extending Republic Day greetings to all faculty members and staff. The staff and students were also administered the oath of the Constitution.
In his address, Dr. Singh highlighted the university's achievements and the progress made in recent years. He mentioned that the university has established several new dimensions, a result of collective efforts, for which everyone deserves congratulations. He emphasized the importance of remaining faithful to the trust placed in us by the Constitution’s framers and upholding the duties enshrined in the Constitution.
In his message, Vice Chancellor Prof. Ajay Kumar Sharma praised the Constitution as the soul of Indian democracy and emphasized the ideals of justice, liberty, and equality it embodies. A parade organized by the NCC under the guidance of Principal Dr. O.P. Jakhad was also held. The event featured vibrant cultural performances presented by students with great enthusiasm.
The ceremony was attended by University Registrar Rachna Bhatia, Finance Controller H.P. Sharma, Controller of Examinations Dr. Mukesh Joshi, Deans of various departments, administrative officers, academic and non-academic staff, and numerous students.
