On January 26, 2025, the 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the sports ground of the Regional Rail Training Institute. The program began with the chief guest, Principal Shri Jai Prakash, being escorted to the saluting platform by the pilot guard, where the Principal hoisted the national flag, and everyone sang the national anthem in honor of the nation. Afterward, the Principal reviewed the parade, and the parade performed a march past and saluted.
In his speech, the Principal highlighted the achievements of the institution, including the installation of smart boards in all classrooms, a model room for the Kavach system, station master simulators, the construction of a modern mess and hostel, the renovation of the auditorium, and the full Wi-Fi coverage of the institution. He also shared upcoming plans such as online exams, the I-GOT training module, and the enhancement of sports facilities.
During the event, the trainees presented patriotic singing and dance performances. At the end of the program, the chief guest, Shri Jai Prakash, and the Chairperson of the Women's Welfare Committee, Mrs. Manisha, presented awards to the winners of various sports and cultural activities. In total, over 225 trainees and members of the institution were honored with awards and medals.
As the program concluded, the chief guest and institution members released tricolor balloons into the sky, symbolizing unity. The event was attended by over 1,050 trainees, along with officers, instructors, and their family members.
