Kota/Nathdwara, December 29 – A two-day ceremony to honor literary figures and national children's literature authors will be organized by Sahitya Mandal, Nathdwara, on January 5 and 6. Prime Minister of the Sahitya Mandal, Shyam Prakash Devpura, shared that the event is dedicated to the memory of the organization’s founder, late Bhagwati Prasad Devpura, a Hindi language activist and children’s literature writer. During the ceremony, 81 Hindi literary scholars from nine states, including Rajasthan, will be conferred honorary titles. Selected authors will also be felicitated by various organizations and individuals for their significant contributions.
Aniruddh Devpura, a Sahitya Mandal official, informed that the event will feature a lecture on the life, work, and literary contributions of Bhagwati Prasad Devpura during the inaugural session. A panel discussion on children’s literature will include the presentation of essays by nine literary experts. The event will also feature cultural programs and an All-India Poetry Conference. Suklata Tripathi, a resident of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, will be conferred the honorary title of "Kavya Marmagya" along with a cash prize of ₹1,051.
Honorees in Children’s Literature
The honorary title "Bal Sahitya Bhushan" will be awarded to the following authors:
Rajasthan: Basanti Panwar, Jeba Rasheed, Madhu Maheshwari, Neena Chhibber, Vimala Nagla, Hemlata Dadhich, Seema Joshi Mutha, Tripti Goswami, Vimala Mahariya Mauj, Meenakshi Pareek, Paras Jain, Vishnu Sharma Harihar, Narendra Nirmal, Krishna Bihari Pathak, Bharat Doshi, Vinod Kumar Sharma, Vijay Kumar Sharma, Puneet Ranga, Mahesh Pancholi, and Yashpal Sharma.
Uttar Pradesh: Devi Prasad Gaur, Arvind Kumar Dubey, Harilal Milan, Uday Narayan Uday, Pradeep Awasthi, Rajkumar Sawan, Colonel Praveen Kumar Tripathi, Meenu Tripathi, Rajnikant Shukla, Mahesh Kumar Madhukar, Kamalendra Kumar, and Shyam Mohan Mishra.
Haryana: Gyan Prakash Piyush.
Madhya Pradesh: Shyam Sundar Srivastava.

Dr. Sharda Prasad Dubey (Mumbai), Dr. Kshama Chaturvedi (Kota), and Hari Bani (Kanpur).
"Sahitya Saurabh" recipients include:
Dr. Chand Kaur Joshi (Jodhpur), Dr. Raksha Godawat (Udaipur), and Suresh Kumar Shrichandani (Ajmer).
"Kavya Kaustubh" will be awarded to:
Saroj Gupta (Jaipur), Amar Singh Yadav (Gwalior), Mukesh Kumar Rishi (Agra), and Purnima Mishra (Bikaner).
"Kavya Kusum" recipients include:
Jai Bajaj (Indore), Shikha Agrawal (Bhilwara), and Anju Sharma Jangid (Jodhpur).
