"PROMOTIONAL RUN IN HONOUR OF THE INDIAN ARMY: FIRST STEP TOWARDS 'HONOUR RUN'

Jaipur: The registration process for the 'Honour Run,' dedicated to the unparalleled bravery and sacrifice of the Indian Army, has begun as of Thursday.  The main event, the 'Honour Run,' will take place on 8th December in Jaipur, with the central theme 'A Run for the Bravehearts.'  As part of this event, a 5-kilometer promotional run will be held on 13th October, starting from Vijay Dwar in the Army area of Vaishali Nagar.  In this promotional run, civilians, army officers, veterans, and personnel will run together, encouraging Jaipur's citizens to embrace health and fitness.

            The 'Honour Run' is being managed by IIEMR.  The primary objective of this event is not only to honour army personnel and their families but also to foster a deeper sense of patriotism within Jaipur.

            The reporting time for the promotional run is set for 5:30 AM.  The run will commence from Vijay Dwar, Vaishali Nagar, and conclude at Gandiv Stadium.  The total distance of the run is approximately 5 kilometers, featuring U-turns at T-junction and Jharkhand Mod.

            Registrations for various categories of the Honour Run are now open, including timed runs of 21 kilometers, 10 kilometers, and 5 kilometers, as well as a non-timed 3-kilometer run.  A special feature is that registration for veterans is free.  Participants can complete the registration process through the event’s official website.

            This historic event is being organized to honour the soldiers of the Indian Army and their families, while also strengthening the spirit of patriotism in Jaipur.  It is a unique opportunity to showcase unity and collaboration between the army and civilians, as they come together to demonstrate their commitment and respect for the nation.
