LIEUTENANT COLONEL (DR.) HEMENDRA BANSAL FROM RAJASTHAN HONOURED BY INDIA BOOK OF RECORDS

Jaipur: Lt Col (Dr.) Hemendra Bansal a serving Indian Army Officer was honoured in Faridabad during the annual International Convocation organised by India Book of Records on 03 October 2024.

Lt Col Bansal, a resident of Bharatpur, Rajasthan created a record by writing 2,20,000 English alphabets on a standard size Indian postcard using the word "PEACE" 44000 times repeatedly. This has also been declared as National Record and Limca Book of Records. The event was presided by Professor Chu Bao Que, Deputy Secretary General of Policy and Development, Council of the Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Association. Record holders and other achievers from India, Malaysia, Nepal, Vietnam and other countries were also felicitated in this grand event.

In Lt Col Bansal’s words, “The aim of making this record is to spread the message of peace across the world”. He adds that this ability is a God’s gift to him which has been converted into an art form. Those words are so small that a normal person requires at least a 50 times magnifying lens to read them. One cannot see it with naked eyes. However,   Lt Col Bansal does not use any kind of magnifying lens while making these miniature artworks.

Lt. Col. (Dr.) Hemendra Bansal is a miniature artist, motivational speaker and amateur photographer. He has been practicing this miniature art for more than three decades and proudly holds 2 Limca Book of Records and 5 National Records in the same field. He was conferred with an Honorary Doctorate from the World Records University, United Kingdom and has also been awarded Meerut Ratan and many other national level awards.
