Lalit Garg is a simple personality. Social worker Lalit Garg, who stands with everyone in their happiness and sorrow, was born on 24 September 1964 in Kishangarh of Ajmer district in Rajasthan. He got the values of literature and journalism from his father Shri Ramswaroop Garg and inherited the skill of social service from both his mothers, late Smt. Satyabhama Garg and Smt. Chandraprabha Devi Garg. Your father, late Shri Ramswaroopji Garg, a dedicated associate of Gandhi, Vinoba Bhave and Jaiprakash Narayan, has been a successful journalist, social worker and thinker of Rajasthan. He provided remarkable services as the first worker of Jain Vishwa Bharati from its inception till the end of his life for about thirty years. This is the reason why Shri Lalit Garg's inclination towards the tendencies of Terapanth Dharma Sangh and Anuvrat started from childhood itself.

Due to your childhood attraction towards pen and ink, you started writing at a very young age. You received your primary education from Ladnun in Rajasthan and higher education from Sujala College in Sujangarh of Churu district, from where you received your B.Com degree. After this, you got married to Bela, daughter of Shri Ghanshyamji Badusaria and Smt. Gyarsidevi Badusaria of the prestigious Badusaria family of Laxmangarh in Sikar. Today you are an idealistic father of three children. Lalit Garg, who maintains a balance between family and social responsibilities, has the wonderful blessings of Goddess Saraswati. This is the reason why he made writing the basis of his life. Lalit Garg, who believes in moral and spiritual values, is inspiring thousands of people through his writings.

 Your articles written in the Parikrama column of Anuvrat fortnightly and the editorials of Samridh Sukhi Parivar magazine are the results of your powerful pen. Your writing continues continuously; as soon as the morning dawns, your columns and articles can be read in the prestigious newspapers of the country. Lalit Garg, who has a keen eye for editing along with writing, has edited the Anuvrat fortnightly magazine for almost two decades and has also worked as an editor for Terapanth Times and YuvaDrishti for a long time. Not only this, your dream is that every family should be happy and prosperous, with this vision; you edited the Samriddh Sukhi Parivar magazine, full of spiritual thoughts, for a long time.

The list of magazines published from across the country under your editorship is very long, among them are Shri Vijay Indra Times monthly, SamajDarpan, Anubhooti, Drishti, Nirgun Chadariya, Acharya Mahapragya Pravas Samiti magazine, Swarnim Aabha Suraj Ki and Gatha Purusharth Ki. Apart from being the spiritual editor of the weekly magazine Uday India published from Delhi in Hindi and English, you have also been the editorial advisor of the monthly magazines 'Loktantra Ki Buniyaad' and 'Safar Aapke Saath' for many years.

You are fulfilling your social responsibility very well by joining many organizations across the country. Your active contribution from Lions Club to Marwari Sammelan, Anuvrat Samiti and Anuvrat Mahasamati to Jain Vishva Bharati is giving new direction to the institutions. You have made a notable contribution in the wide publicity of the Anuvrat movement and in taking forward the mission and programs of Acharya Tulsi, Acharya Mahapragya and currently Acharya Mahashraman. You have been awarded many awards for journalism and writing. These include the Acharya Mahapragya Pratibha Puraskar of Rs. 1 lakh, Rashtriya Chetna Puraskar of Rs. 51 thousand and dozens of other awards. You are blessed with a cheerful and sociable personality, which is why you have wide public contact with politicians, litterateurs, journalists and social workers across the country.

          Ethical and healthy writing is your priority and to make it strong, as the convener of Anuvrat Lekhak Manch, you organized many national seminars and conferences. It was the result of your foresight that you witnessed the important talks between Sant Harchand Singh Longowal and Acharya Shri Tulsi - Acharya Shri Mahapragya regarding the Punjab problem and you publicized this talk nationwide. This very talk became the medium for the solution of the Punjab problem. In the year 2006, under the leadership of Jain Saint Gani Rajendra Vijayji, who is an inspiration for tribal life, you started the Sukhi Parivar Abhiyan for tribal upliftment and development as well as strengthening the institution of family. For this, Sukhi Parivar Foundation was organized and large schemes of education, service and public welfare were shaped in the tribal areas of Kawant, Bald village and Bodeli of Gujarat. During your tenure as General Secretary, a huge tribal gathering was held in Kawant in which more than one and a half lakh tribals were present. In this event, the then Chief Minister and current Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of SukhiParivarEklavya Model Residential School.

The feeling of nation first resides in your heart. You are actively associated with the Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh and the Vidya Bharti with it and along with being a member of Vidya Bharti's Vidwat Parishad at the All India level from Delhi, you are also the correspondent chief of Delhi. You are currently the Executive President of Ghaziabad's Suryanagar Educational Society and the Platinum Valley International School run by it.
