Memorandum Submitted to Education Minister: PTI Absent in School for 20 Years

Mumbai  – Rajasthan's Education Minister, Madan Dilawar, was on a visit to Mumbai. During this visit, Jitendra Singh Rathore, a resident of Kailash Nagar and a member of the Rajasthan Press Club, raised concerns about the absence of a Physical Training Instructor (PTI) in the government high secondary school of his village, Kailash Nagar. He highlighted that children have been facing significant difficulties due to the lack of a PTI for many years. At this age, children learn to stay fit through physical exercise and sports. Rathore expressed the children's struggles to the Education Minister, mentioning that recently, the 68th district-level Kabaddi tournament was held in their village, with over 44 teams participating. However, due to the absence of a PTI and proper guidance, Kailash Nagar's team could not advance further. He also informed the Minister that the school has been without a PTI for the past 20 years, depriving children of opportunities in sports. On this occasion, the Director of the Education Department, Ashish Modi, was also present.
