Association of Cine & TV/Ad Production Executives to Celebrate Golden Jubilee on May 1st!

The Association of Cine & TV/Ad Production Executives has announced the organization of its 12th Awards Ceremony (2025) to honor the year's best production executives. The event will be held on May 1st at the ISKCON Auditorium, Juhu, Mumbai, as part of the association's Golden Jubilee celebrations.

The awards categories will cover films, TV serials (fiction/non-fiction), web series, music albums, and regional movies and television shows in Marathi, Bhojpuri, Punjabi, and Gujarati languages.

Shri Ramdas Athawale, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment (Government of India), will grace the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Several other renowned personalities from the film and entertainment industry have also been invited to the grand celebration.

The Association of Cine & TV/Ad Production Executives plays a vital role in supporting professionals working in the film and television industry.

It is noteworthy that this association was originally founded and registered under the Trade Union Act, 1926, in 1975 by the late Shri R.K. Handa, Shri Ram Milan Verma, Shri Manik Gupta, Shri V.K. Mathur, Shri Gangadharam, and Shri Harrington Bernard with the aim of protecting the professional interests of production controllers and production managers working in the film sector.

The dedicated contributions of late Shri Manik Gupta, Shri Mohammad Shafi, Shri Bhushan Verma, and late Shri Gyan Sachdev were instrumental in firmly establishing the association.

Later, in an effort to expand coverage and membership, the television and advertising film sectors were also brought under its umbrella, and the association was renamed Association of Cine & TV/Ad Production Executives.

Thanks to the relentless efforts of its founding members, the association today enjoys recognition from the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE).
