Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat Celebrates 57th Birthday with Simplicity

New Delhi. Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat celebrated his 57th birthday with great simplicity, warmly meeting those who came to congratulate him. President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, members of his council, Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, numerous MPs, MLAs, party officials, and workers were among those who extended their birthday wishes to Shekhawat. He expressed his gratitude, saying, "I am very happy to receive all the affection you have sent through various means on my birthday."

On Monday, Shekhawat continued to handle his ministry-related work as usual. He participated in a meeting regarding the auction of a memento of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Ministry of Culture in New Delhi. He stated that participation in this auction is straightforward, and efforts are being made to maximize involvement. The process is entirely transparent, allowing everyone to participate.

Additionally, he attended the tenth edition of "Google for India," where he expressed his happiness that Gemini Live is now available in Hindi. He announced that this feature would soon be available in other Indian languages as well. He emphasized that AI technology is set to play a revolutionary role in leading India's vast diversity towards becoming a developed nation.

In response to the Cabinet's approval for granting classical language status to Marathi, Pali, Prakrit, Assamese, and Bengali, Shekhawat remarked, "It is a matter of great joy and pride that under the leadership of PM Shri @narendramodi, our central cabinet has approved the classical language status for Marathi, Pali, Prakrit, Assamese, and Bengali today. Classical languages are a treasure of our cultural and literary heritage, encapsulating the history, traditions, and milestones of each community while preserving the nation's collective heritage."

He added that this status will aid in the preservation, documentation, and digitization of ancient texts in these languages, as well as create significant employment opportunities in collection, translation, publishing, and digital media.
