One-Day Workshop Organized by Hindustan Zinc at Rajpura Dariba under the Direction of Directorate of Mine Safety

A one-day workshop on the topic “Effective Functioning of Group Vocational Training in Compliance with Statutory Regulations” was organized at the Rajpura Dariba Complex of Hindustan Zinc Limited under the auspices of the Directorate of Mine Safety, Udaipur Region.

The event was attended by Mine Safety Director of Udaipur Region, B. Dayasagar, Mine Safety Director of Ajmer Region, Surjeet Katewa, along with the Director and Deputy Director of the Directorate of Mine Safety, as well as Balwant Singh Rathod, CEO of Rajpura Dariba Complex, and Kishore Kumar, CEO of Agucha. Representatives from Hindustan Zinc, Wonder Cement, RK Marbles, JK Cement, and UltraTech Cement mines, along with Group VTC in-charges, Mine Managers, and other representatives were also present.

During the event, B. Dayasagar, Director of Mine Safety, Udaipur Region, emphasized that Group Vocational Training Centers are committed to strengthening our safety standards. He noted that the workshop was an important step in promoting a "Safety First" culture at all Udaipur VTCs. By empowering individuals with the right knowledge and practices, we are not only enhancing workplace safety but also building a future where safety is ingrained in every task and decision. A well-trained workforce is the backbone of a safe workplace, and through continuous learning, we can reduce risks and maximize efficiency. Let us work together to make safety not just a priority, but a way of life.

The workshop also included an analysis of the statutory procedures of all Group VTCs. Presentations were given by DGMS and all teams, followed by feedback from VTC in-charges.
