Hindustan Zinc Kicks Off 45th Mohan Kumar Mangalam (MKM) Football Tournament in Zawar, Rajasthan

Udaipur: Hindustan Zinc, in collaboration with the Zawar Mines Mazdoor Sangh, kicked off the 45th edition of the Mohan Kumar Mangalam (MKM) Football Tournament today at the MKM Stadium in Zawar, Rajasthan. This iconic event, which will run through January 27, has brought together 12 talented teams from across India, each representing their state in a fierce display of football excellence. The tournament was inaugurated by celebrated Indian footballer Raju Eknath Gaikwad, with Hindustan Zinc's CFO Sandeep Modi, CHRO Munish Vasudeva, Acid Business CEO Kartik S., IBU CEO of Zawar Ram Murari, MKM Steering Committee secretary Abhimanyu Singh Ranawat and MKM Coordinator Deepak Gakhreja, organizing committee secretary Lalu Ram Meena, Naga Ram Kharadi, Subroto Das, CT Premnath also in attendance. The MKM Tournament not only showcases the brightest young athletes but also celebrates the rich football legacy of the region and the passion that drives it.

The tournament features a strong lineup of teams, including Hindustan Zinc XI, Doon Star FC Dehradun, KMSWC Football Club Manipur, Kashmir United FC, DFA Udaipur, Ram Mohammad Singh Azad FC Punjab, YBFC Maharashtra, Akola Mumbai, and RT Boys Club Hyderabad, all competing for the coveted trophy. The inaugural match of the MKM Tournament was played between Hindustan Zinc XI and KMSWC Football Club Manipur, setting the stage for what promises to be an exciting and competitive event. With teams from across India, fans can expect thrilling matchups that showcase not only fierce competition but also the spirit of unity and sportsmanship that defines the MKM Tournament.
