Udaipur– Under the joint aegis of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and the Heartfulness Institute, the brochure for the proposed Ekatm Abhiyan across eight states was inaugurated by Ms. Riya Dabi, Chief Executive Officer, District Council, Udaipur. She expressed confidence that this initiative would benefit people from all sections of society, including both men and women. Participation in these sessions will provide rural residents with opportunities for physical, mental, and emotional development while strengthening personal, family, and community relationships.
Heartfulness Center Coordinator Dr. Rakesh Dashora shared insights about the initiative, stating that the program will be conducted in 1,800 villages across the state with the motto "Har Dil Dhyan, Har Din Dhyan" (Meditation for Every Heart, Every Day). Dedicated to the well-being of rural citizens, the program will focus on micro-exercises, pranayama, mudras, and meditation to promote inner peace, stress relief, and self-awareness. Special yoga postures, breathing exercises, and mudras targeting stress relief, physical weakness, high blood pressure, lack of concentration, and emotional balance will be practiced in these sessions.
Heartfulness representatives requested permission from the Chief Executive Officer to conduct these sessions in community centers, schools, and other suitable rural locations. Trained volunteers will ensure that the sessions are conducted smoothly and free of cost while adhering to all necessary guidelines and protocols. The event was attended by Heartfulness trainer Dr. Subodh Sharma (former Dean, MPUAT), Rajsamand District Coordinator Shri Devi Lal Chandel, and Udaipur District Coordinator & Income Tax Officer Sualal Meena.
