A Spectacular Second Day of Musical Extravaganza

• Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival 2025 supported by Hindustan Zinc and the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, and conceptualized by SEHER, continues with a diverse line up on Day 2

• The second day featured Carnatic, Persian, folk, and contemporary music with performances by Euphoria, Karsh Kale & Peter Tegner, Delgocha Ensemble, and more


Udaipur, February 08, 2025: The Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival 2025, supported by Hindustan Zinc and the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, and conceptualized by SEHER, has entered its second day. The festival is free for all, showcasing a blend of Indian and international music across three iconic venues - Manji Ka Ghat (morning), Fateh Sagar Paal (afternoon), and Gandhi Ground (evening). The festival offers the audiences a variety of musical traditions and performances from around the world.

This festival transformed Zinc City, Udaipur, into a lively hub of music and culture. This year, in an even grander and more vibrant edition, the festival seeks to honor and revive Rajasthan’s forgotten musical instruments and traditions while celebrating global music cultures.

The morning began at Manji Ka Ghat, overlooking the City Palace and Jag Mandir, where audiences enjoyed a peaceful start with Rithvik Raja’s soulful Carnatic music. This was followed by Delgocha Ensemble from Iran, who introduced the audience to Persian classical music through the Radif tradition.

This free event increases tourism by approximately 10 percent in just three days.

As night fell, Gandhi Ground set the stage for an electric lineup. Sarangi Orchestra opened with traditional melodies, followed by Kutle Khan, who delivered a rhythmic Rajasthani folk performance. Ziskakan from Réunion Island introduced Creole influences, blending African, Asian, and European sounds. Euphoria, one of the night’s most awaited acts, had the audience singing along to their Hindi rock anthems. The day closed with Romano Drom from Hungary, whose high-energy Gypsy music brought together Indian and modern styles, ending the evening on a high note.

Udaipur: The second day of the Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival 2025 turned out to be a mesmerizing experience as the city witnessed a soulful blend of Indian, pop, and fusion music at three prominent locations—Manji Ghat in the morning, Fatehsagar Pal in the afternoon, and Gandhi Ground in the evening. Organized by Seher, with the support of Hindustan Zinc Limited and the Rajasthan Tourism Department, this festival remains free and open to all, providing audiences with an immersive experience of diverse musical traditions from across the globe.


The day began at Manji Ghat, set against the backdrop of City Palace and Jag Mandir, where audiences enjoyed a tranquil and soulful performance by Rithvik Raja, a renowned Carnatic musician. This was followed by the Delgocha Ensemble from Iran, who introduced the audience to Persian classical music through the Radif tradition.

At Fatehsagar Pal, amidst the gentle waves and a serene atmosphere, the afternoon session brought an exciting lineup of artists. Chizai enthralled music lovers with a fusion of pop and funk, while Ali Dogan Gonultas and his ensemble brought the vibrant folk traditions of Kurdistan and Turkey to life. The session concluded with a spellbinding performance by Karsh Kale and Peter Tegner, who seamlessly fused electronic and acoustic music to create a unique soundscape.

As the evening unfolded at Gandhi Ground, the festival’s grandeur reached new heights with an array of world-renowned artists captivating the audience. The evening opened with a Sarangi Orchestra, playing traditional Rajasthani melodies. Kutle Khan then took the stage, mesmerizing the crowd with soulful Rajasthani folk tunes, bringing India’s rich cultural heritage to life. The Ziskakan ensemble from Réunion Island showcased a mesmerizing blend of African, Asian, and European influences with Creole undertones.

One of the most awaited performances of the night was by Euphoria, whose Hindi rock anthems had the audience singing along in unison. The second day concluded with an electrifying performance by Romano Drom from Hungary, whose energetic gypsy music fused Indian and modern styles, leaving the audience in awe and drawing thunderous applause.
