Producer Accused of Misleading Monalisa, Sanoj Mishra Responds Strongly

Mumbai: Famous for her role in *Mahakumbh*, viral sensation Monalisa is currently embroiled in controversy after film producer Jitendra Narayan Singh, also known as Waseem Rizvi, claimed that she was trapped. Waseem accused director Sanoj Mishra of misleading Monalisa and her family. Both Sanoj and Monalisa have now responded to these accusations.

Sanoj Mishra strongly denied the allegations, stating that Waseem Rizvi is attempting to tarnish his reputation with false claims. Sanoj said, "This is the same person who tried to take my life during the release of my film *Diary of West Bengal*. I don't even want to take his name because he has no existence of his own. He has several criminal cases against him. This person converted from Muslim to Hindu and has defamed both communities. He himself is a rapist and is now accusing me."

Sanoj Mishra further added, "In today's Bollywood, where nepotism and favoritism prevail, if I am giving a platform to a girl, what crime have I committed? I love cinema. Monalisa is like a daughter to me, and she is just 15 and a half years old. My own daughter is 18 years old."

Film publicist Sanjay Bhushan Patiala shared that Monalisa also released a video to address the issue. In the video, Monalisa clarified, "I haven't even gone to Mumbai. I am in Madhya Pradesh with my family and sister, preparing for acting. Sanoj Mishra is a very good person and treats me like his daughter. The rumors being spread about him are false. Sanoj Mishra sir is a very respectable person."

It’s worth noting that since Monalisa gained popularity after her appearance in *Mahakumbh*, director Sanoj Mishra signed her for his upcoming film *The Diary of Manipur*. The film's shooting is set to begin soon. Sanoj Mishra is dedicated to fully training Monalisa in acting before the shoot. The movie is set to begin filming next month.

The film, being produced under the banner of Sanoj Mishra Films, will be directed, produced, and written by Sanoj Mishra himself. Co-producers include Sanjay Bhushan Patiala, Yameen Khan, and Javed Devariya. Apart from Monalisa, the film will also star Amit Rao and Deepak Sutha, with other cast members currently being selected.
