In an impressive feat, Indian film industry’s renowned martial arts expert, Dr. Cheetah Yagnyesh Shetty, broke three world records at the *Girls Self-Defense Program* held in Birgunj Metropolitan City, Nepal. One of these records is now officially listed in the Guinness Book of World Records. Dr. Shetty, the founder and president of *Cheetah Jeet Kune Do Global Sports Federation*, achieved this remarkable accomplishment as part of a major initiative to empower young girls through self-defense training.
Dr. Shetty was invited by the Mayor of Birgunj, Rajesh Man Singh, to train a large number of girls in Nepal. During the self-defense event, a record-breaking crowd of 18,000 people gathered, surpassing the previous Guinness World Record. The event, held to commemorate the birth anniversary of martial arts legend Bruce Lee, saw Dr. Shetty break all previous records in the international arena at Birgunj Metropolitan.
This achievement highlights Dr. Shetty’s dedication to promoting self-defense and empowerment among young girls. The program, supported by Nepal’s Goodwill Ambassador Ashok Baid, was organized on November 13 and attended by prominent figures such as Pradeep Yadav (Union Water Minister), Ashok Baid (Nepal-India Cooperation Forum), D.S. Dr. Cheetah Yagnyesh Shetty, who has been honored with a PhD in *Martial Arts Pure Science* by the Global Martial Arts University Grant Commission, is originally from Mangalore, Karnataka. He began his career as a hotel manager in Mumbai at Sea Rock Hotel, but his passion for martial arts propelled him to become a renowned martial arts guru and world-famous grandmaster.
In the film industry, Dr. Shetty has trained over 150 actors, actresses, and superstars in action and martial arts, including Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Govinda, Juhi Chawla, Priyanka Chopra, Eesha Koppikar, Karisma Kapoor, and Farhan Akhtar, among others.
