Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital Raises Awareness with "Run for Heart" on World Heart Day

Cardiovascular diseases pose a serious challenge to global health, but through awareness and the adoption of a healthy lifestyle, we can manage it. On this World Heart Day, Geetanjali Hospital took its responsibility seriously and organized a half marathon in collaboration with Udaipur Vedanta City to promote the "Run for Heart" initiative. Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital participated as the medical partner for this event.

The event saw active participation from Medical Superintendent Dr. Harpreet Singh, CT Surgery Specialist Dr. Sanjay Gandhi, senior doctors, DGM Sales and Marketing Kalpesh Chand Rajbar, and over 400 students and staff from Geetanjali University.

Mr. Rishi Kapoor, COO of Geetanjali Hospital, announced that essential medical services would be provided during the half marathon, along with the availability of an ICU-on-Wheels ambulance to address any medical emergencies promptly.

The half marathon was organized by Dr. Manoj Soni, founder of "Anybody Can Run."

Through this half marathon, Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital has taken a significant step towards promoting awareness of the increasing incidence of heart diseases and the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle to keep the community healthy.
