Dr. Rishi Sharma’s Distinguished Address at NAPCON Conference

Dr. Rishi Kumar Sharma, a chest specialist from Geetanjali Medical College, participated as a distinguished speaker at the annual NAPCON conference of chest physicians held in Pune. He emphasized the importance of spirometry tests in diagnosing asthma.

Dr. Sharma stated that asthma usually begins in childhood and often manifests as persistent coughing in children. Therefore, early diagnosis is crucial to ensure timely and appropriate medication, where spirometry plays a vital role.

Additionally, Dr. Sharma chaired a session on various treatment approaches for hemoptysis (coughing up blood).
