Dr. Sharma stated that asthma usually begins in childhood and often manifests as persistent coughing in children. Therefore, early diagnosis is crucial to ensure timely and appropriate medication, where spirometry plays a vital role.
Additionally, Dr. Sharma chaired a session on various treatment approaches for hemoptysis (coughing up blood).
