The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with grandeur at the sprawling campus of Geetanjali University, Udaipur. The event's Chief Guest was Mr. J.P. Agrawal, Chairman of Geetanjali Group. The Guests of Honor included Vice Chairman Kapil Agrawal, Executive Director Ankit Agrawal, and Vice Chancellor Dr. Rakesh Kumar Vyas. Other dignitaries present were GMCH CEO Rishi Kapoor, Geetanjali University Registrar Mayur Rawal, GMCH Medical Superintendent Dr. Harpreet Singh, along with the deans and principals of all colleges under the university.
The celebration began with the hoisting of the national flag by Mr. J.P. Agrawal, filling the campus with the resounding echoes of the national anthem. The event was anchored by CHRO Dr. Rajeev Pandya and Dr. Udichi Katara. A grand parade was showcased by the students and faculty of Geetanjali University and Medical College, with an impressive motorcycle parade by male and female students that captivated the audience.
The cultural program featured dances depicting the rich cultural heritage of various Indian states, showcasing the unity in diversity of the nation. Several performances addressed pressing social issues with profound creativity. A special highlight of the program was the Prayagraj-themed performance, inspired by the ongoing Maha Kumbh, which left the audience spellbound. Throughout the event, patriotic slogans like "Vande Mataram" and "Bharat Mata ki Jai" filled the air, instilling enthusiasm among attendees.
Mr. J.P. Agrawal, along with the leadership team, honored doctors, faculty, and employees who have been associated with Geetanjali for over a decade with Facilitation Awards, exemplifying the organization's employee-centric values.
In his address, Mr. J.P. Agrawal greeted the audience and extended Republic Day wishes. He highlighted Geetanjali Hospital's unwavering commitment to providing high-quality treatment at affordable rates for the past 17 years and assured that the hospital would continue to modernize in alignment with advancements in the medical field.
The Vice Chancellor also conveyed his Republic Day greetings, emphasizing the importance of unity and harmony. He assured continuous efforts toward adopting new technologies and efficient medical practices in the healthcare sector and reiterated the university's dedication to the growth and development of students. He proudly announced that Geetanjali University has successfully met the standards set by the University Grants Commission (UGC), marking a significant achievement.
The event concluded with a spectacular gala performance by nearly 200 students, who lit up the stage with their vibrant costumes and synchronized dances. The colorful and joyous performance left the audience delighted, marking a perfect end to the Republic Day celebrations.
