Awareness Session on World Kidney Day Held at Aishwarya College

Udaipur: A special awareness session was organized at Aishwarya College on the occasion of World Kidney Day, with Dr. Sunny Madar as the keynote speaker. Dr. Madar, an Assistant Professor at Pacific Medical College, is also a faculty member at the Art of Living, an active volunteer for Better India, and Drug-Free India campaigns.

The main objective of the event was to raise awareness about kidney-related diseases and emphasize the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Madar highlighted the major causes of kidney diseases, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, poor diet, and dehydration. He also shared tips for maintaining healthy kidneys, including regular exercise, a balanced diet, staying hydrated, and stress management.

The session included a Q&A segment, where attendees had their questions answered. Dr. Madar emphasized the importance of yoga, meditation, and mental peace for kidney health and urged the youth to stay away from drugs as part of the Drug-Free India campaign.

A large number of participants attended the session and gained insights into government initiatives and available resources related to kidney health. At the conclusion of the program, participants pledged to take care of their kidney health and spread awareness within their families and communities. 

In recognition of his valuable contribution, Dr. Ritu Paliwal, Principal of Aishwarya College, honored Dr. Sunny Madar with a memento and expressed gratitude for his insightful session.
