Annual Sports Festival Concludes at St. Gregorios School

Udaipur: The Annual Sports Festival 2024-25 was celebrated with great enthusiasm at St. Gregorios Senior Secondary School.

International basketball player Mahendra Singh Shekhawat graced the event as the chief guest, while DEO Secondary Headquarters Establishment Officer Ajay Kothari and Rev. Father Daniel Varghese attended as esteemed guests. The event was further enriched by the presence of School Manager Rev. Father Varghese Thomas, Principal Shubha Jose, Vice-Principal Anil Goswami, school staff, and hundreds of parents.

The event commenced with the ceremonial welcome of the chief guest and distinguished attendees, followed by the flag hoisting and a disciplined march past by students, which became the highlight of the event. The official inauguration of the sports festival was announced by Ajay Kothari.

Students enthusiastically participated in various sports competitions, including the 100-meter race, 200-meter race, relay race, shot put, three-leg race, ring race, lemon-and-spoon race, and sack race. Primary students presented an energetic aerobics dance, while senior students mesmerized the audience with an impressive drill performance.

Winners were honored with medals and certificates. The festival not only promoted sportsmanship and discipline among students but also fostered teamwork and leadership qualities. Parents and guests appreciated the enthusiasm and courage of the students, calling the event highly successful and inspiring.
