Aishwarya College Pays Tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on His Death Anniversary

Udaipur: Aishwarya College paid heartfelt tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his death anniversary at the Shaheed Smarak, Town Hall, Udaipur. This event was organized to remind everyone of Gandhi Ji's indelible legacy and his contribution to India’s freedom struggle.

On this occasion, the college organized several activities. Students and faculty visited the Shaurya Dheergha Museum, where they learned about the sacrifices made by India’s heroes and freedom fighters. The visit provided valuable insights into Gandhi Ji’s movement and the broader context of the freedom struggle.

Student Saloni Tiwari shared that a quote competition focused on Gandhi Ji's teachings and philosophy was also held at the college. The students enthusiastically participated, demonstrating their understanding and appreciation of Gandhi Ji’s ideals. Chanchal Meghwal and Nitin Bamnia secured the first place, Sumitra Ahari took second place, and Saina Meena won third place. The winners were honored for their insightful explanations and expressions of Gandhi Ji’s quotes.

On this occasion, Dr. Rashi Mathur, Principal of Aishwarya Teachers Training College, stated that Gandhi Ji’s thoughts and ideals are still relevant today. She encouraged students to adopt Gandhi Ji’s principles in their lives. She emphasized that Gandhi Ji's path of non-violence and satyagraha continues to inspire us and plays a significant role in uniting society. The event served as a powerful reminder of Gandhi Ji’s lasting impact on Indian society and his continued relevance in the modern world.
