Kota – Rajasthan Technical University, Kota, organized special programs in the adopted villages of Gammach and Vijay Nagar, Tehsil Taleda, to mark the 10th anniversary of the 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' campaign. The initiative aimed at raising awareness and promoting the education and safety of girls in society. Vikram Rathore, the Assistant Public Relations Officer of RTU, stated that the University Responsibility Cell organized rallies, street plays, and discussions to spread awareness about girls' rights and education in these villages.
Vice Chancellor Prof. S.K. Singh emphasized that this program is not just a campaign but an effort to guide society in a better direction. He stated that the campaign is a significant step in eliminating gender discrimination and providing unlimited opportunities for girls to pursue education and fulfill their dreams. Prof. Singh noted that RTU's awareness programs have instilled a deep understanding of gender equality among villagers, strengthening such welfare initiatives at the grassroots level.
