One-Day Workshop at Vikrant University Gwalior

A one-day workshop was organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy at Vikrant University Gwalior on the topic "Artificial Intelligence Powered Drug Discovery: Shaping the Future of the Pharma Industry." The workshop aimed to have an in-depth discussion on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the pharmaceutical industry and its potential benefits.

The workshop was inaugurated by the Chancellor of Vikrant University, Mr. Rakesh Singh Rathore, who extended his best wishes to the Pharmacy Department and the organizers. He emphasized that such events would not only provide new knowledge to students and teachers but also shape the future of the pharma industry.

During the event, a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Vikrant University Gwalior and Modern College of Pharmacy Indore. This MoU will enhance research and academic collaboration between the two institutions. The Vice-Chancellor of Vikrant University, Prof. Amarika Singh, stated that this agreement would strengthen the Pharmacy Department in the field of research.

The keynote speaker, Prof. (Dr.) Nitesh K. Jain, highlighted the use of AI in pharmacology and toxicology, explaining how AI can accelerate drug discovery and improve patient care.

The workshop's coordinator, Dr. Subodh K. Dubey, and the organizing secretary, Mr. Ankur Agarwal, expressed their gratitude to all the collaborators for the successful event. Professors and academicians from various universities and institutions attended the workshop.
