Young Scientists from DPS Udaipur Selected for National Science Exhibition

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) organized a two-day regional level Science Exhibition on November 11th and 12th, 2024, at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Vidya Ashram in Jaipur. Among the 110 participants from 70 schools across the state, two young scientists from Delhi Public School (DPS), Udaipur, showcased their scientific talent and secured their spot in the National Science Exhibition to be held in Delhi in December.

The project, guided by Senior Science Teacher Ms. Shweta Soni, was presented by Class 8 students Anay Vaish and Dhairya Purohit. Their project, focused on **"Waste Management"**, featured a robot designed to clean lakes, and it impressed the judges, earning them a place in the national exhibition.

Principal Mr. Sanjay Narwaria shared that out of 70 teams, only 14 were selected as winners for the national level exhibition, and DPS Udaipur's team secured the first position. This achievement is a matter of great pride for the school. Principal Mr. Narwaria congratulated the students, their parents, and their mentor, Ms. Shweta Soni, for this remarkable accomplishment. Vice-Principal Mr. Rajesh Dhabhai also extended his best wishes to the winners.
