68th District-Level Urban Area Cricket Tournament Concludes with C.P.S. Winning in Under-17 and Under-19 Categories

Udaipur . The 68th District-Level Urban Area Cricket Tournament, hosted by C.P.S., concluded with a remarkable victory for C.P.S. in both the Under-17 and Under-19 girl categories.

In the Under-17 category, C.P.S. set a target of 96 runs, which they successfully defended to claim victory. Similarly, in the Under-19 category, C.P.S. challenged the Guru Nanak School team with a target of 110 runs, but with exceptional bowling performance, C.P.S. ensured that the opposing team could not achieve this goal.

The chief guest at the event was Mr. Ashok Menaria, a former captain of the Indian Under-19 team and a player for the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL. He is currently the captain of the Haryana Ranji team. Notable guests included Mrs. Alka Sharma (Chairperson of C.P.S. and Rockwoods School), Mr. Anil Sharma (Administrative Director of C.P.S. and Rockwoods School), and J.P. Bhawsar, a distinguished senior physical education teacher, along with other esteemed guests. In his address, the chief guest shared important and motivational insights related to sports.

During the ceremony, medals were awarded to all winners and runners-up, and the winning school received a trophy. Commemorative mementos were also presented to the guests and officials associated with the sports competition. All guests extended their best wishes to the victorious and runner-up players.
