National Solar Mission aims to establish India as a global leader in the field: Prof. Bhuvan Joshi

Udaipur, The Physics Department of B.N. University organized a conference on "Recent Trends in Science and Technology" in the presence of Goddess Saraswati, marking the beginning of the first day of the program. The program was inaugurated by the chief guest Prof. Hariom Vats, Director of Space Education and Research Foundation, Ahmedabad, and Dr. Harish Seth, Senior Scientist at SAC-ISRO, Ahmedabad. Dr. Renu Rathore, the conference chairperson, briefed everyone about the subject matter and objectives of the conference. Simultaneously, the unveiling of the souvenir also took place.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Mahendra Singh Rathore, the University's Protector and President, spoke about turning failure into success, emphasizing that scientists often achieve success through repeated experiments and research. He stressed the importance of never allowing disappointment to overpower oneself. Conference co-coordinator and University Treasurer Mohabbat Singh Rathore expressed his views on the increasing trends in technology.

The inaugural session saw Prof. Bhuvan Joshi from the Udaipur Solar Observatory, Physical Research Laboratory, Department of Space, discussing Aditya L1, Solar Mission, Space Weather, Chandrayaan 3, and the Foundation of PRL in detail. He stated that the objective of the National Solar Mission is to establish India as a global leader in the field of solar energy by creating policy situations for its expansion across the country.

Similarly, Prof. Parth Konar, Theoretical Physics Division, Physical Research Laboratory, Department of Space, elaborated on particle physics and future modifications, shedding light on his fundamental areas and the dynamics of his work.

Colonel Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, the chief coordinator and University chairman, highlighted in his message sent for the conference, that technology is not only reshaping our lifestyle but also changing the world. Learning innovations and exploring more sustainable futures are opening new doors for humanity, provided they are positively utilized.

The event was attended by conference director Dr. Praveena Rathore, Dr. Reena Mehta, and Dr. Tanvi along with other members. The entire organization of the event was carried out by Dr. Kamal Singh Rathore, Dr. Tanvi, and others.
